We regularly fundraise for The Christie in memory of my mother-in-law Barbara Irving who died in Feb 2010. The care and love she received at The Christie in her last weeks  was exceptional.
I am therefore asking for donations rather than birthday gifts for my 50th.

Monies raised help make a real difference to the care and treatment The Christie are able to provide to patients and their families - and with the statistic now that 1 in 2 of us will have cancer at some point in our lives,its inevitable that we will all access their services in some way at sometime in the future.
